"Without the Sun" Lamp 8’ tall
x 12” Round Flood Lamp Created specifically for the City Arts Center show Under the Influence 2. The “Without the Sun” lamp is a study in deconstruction. Half way up the body, the edges break apart and separate. As the lamp body continues to breaks up, more light from the inside is let out, creating shadows and interest. The top half of the lamp evolves from highly symmetrical to completely incompatible, just like a bad relationship. It all ends crossed, broken and chaotic. This lamp is less about light and more about shadow. The "Without the Sun" lamp creates drama when turned on or off. Retail Price: $600.00 |
